With the game’s Japanese release in a few hours as of this writing, Atlus has uploaded an unboxing video for the limited edition “Premium Box” of Vanillaware’s dramatic sci-fi adventure title, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim.
The video goes over the contents of the “Premium Box.” The limited edition release of the game costs 14,980 yen and includes the following:
- The game 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim.
- A premium box featuring a Vanillaware design.
- A 132-page “Secret File” that features various artwork such as 1980s style magazine articles for the various characters, and unreleased artwork.
- 13 Sentinels papercraft model kit. A collaboration with a papercraft model maker embodying a three-dimensional model of the second generation type 13th sentinel.
- DLC Original Theme and Avatar Set. The avatar set will consist of 15 ones: each protagonist, BJ, and Shippo.
First-print copies of the game will include the following:
- A digital PS4 port of Princess Crown as DLC.
- A George Kamitani designed PS4 theme of 13 Sentinels.
- A 13 Sentinels “Premium Talk Event” participation ticket.
- “13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim Digital Art Works” animated digital art book as DLC.
13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim will be released for the PlayStation 4 in Japan on November 28, 2019. The game was announced for English localization in June 2017. No Western release date has been announced as of yet.
