Japanese figure producer Amakuni is currently holding their first “Hobby Frontier 2020 Summer,” which is an online exhibition to show off the company’s upcoming figures. Part of this exhibition includes Persona 5 figures.
Sadayo Kawakami
At Mega Hobby Expo 2018 Autumn in November 2018, Amakuni announced that they would be producing a Persona 5 the Animation figure for Sadayo Kawakami in her maid costume.
Today, Amakuni has revealed the prototype of the Kawakami figure—now branded under Persona 5 Royal—for the first time.
The sculptor is Vispo.
Haru Okumura Phantom Thief Ver.
Originally announced at Wonder Festival 2018 Summer and with a prototype shown at Wonder Festival 2019 Summer, Amakuni has shown the colored version of the Haru Okumura Phantom Thief ver. figure for the first time.
Pre-orders for this figure will be made available at the Hobby Japan Online Shop starting on August 25, 2020.
The sculptor is Natsuki Manabe of Crea Mode.
Makoto Niijima
Originally announced at Wonder Festival 2018 Summer and with a prototype shown at Wonder Festival 2019 Winter earlier this year, the colored version of the Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight themed figure of Makoto Niijima, produced by Amakuni, was shown at Mega Hobby Expo 2019 Autumn.
Pre-orders for this figure will be available soon.
The figure is being shown once again. The sculptor is Vispo and the color sample production is by pinpoint.
