Atlus has launched three new official Facebook social media pages for the Asian market: Atlus Asia, Atlus Korea, and Atlus SEA. These pages have been created to share the latest information on Atlus titles, including Persona and Shin Megami Tensei, for the respective regions in Asia.
To celebrate the launch of the official Facebook pages, Atlus is holding giveaways for those who follow, like, and share the celebratory posts From January 28 to February 10, 2022. Winners will receive Atlus 35th anniversary rubber coasters and face towels.
In 2019, Atlus General Manager Naoto Hiraoka emphasized the importance of the Asian market. Hiraoka stated that Atlus always felt the the market had great potential, and that the company would aim for a simultaneous launch of their titles in the future.
Hiraoka had emphasized the same in 2017, after the first Atlus Asian release of Persona 4 Golden. With an increased emphasis on releasing localizations of their titles simultaneously, along with the recent worldwide release of Shin Megami Tensei V, these Facebook pages are likely indicative of an increased push of simultaneous worldwide marketing for Atlus games.
