Persona 4: Dancing All Night

Soejima: In the case of Persona 4: Dancing All Night (henceforth P4D) I wanted the art to depict the game’s tone and music, and I made several drafts. If I simply drew scene after scene of the characters dancing in a rhythm action game, I wouldn’t fully convey the enjoyment and impact of playing it.

Hashino-san and I thought of how to show that impact, and I ended up drawing the package art and a cover for an issue of Weekly Famitsu. I drew with the hope that the art could show dancing and music, the cheer and merriment. Though, I wonder how well an illustration can convey music.
