This week’s issue of Weekly Famitsu magazine #1570 features New Year’s cards and comments from 50 Japanese companies for 2019, including Atlus.
This follows last year’s Happy New Year 2018 cards, which featured the duo of Persona 5 and Persona 3, Catherine: Full Body, Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology, Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux, and Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2.
This year, the greetings card features:
- Atlus 1st Production: Shin Megami Tensei V
- Atlus 2nd Production (P Studio): Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth
- Atlus 3rd Production (Studio Zero): Catherine: Full Body
Previously reported, Atlus’ statement for the next year is the following:
Happy new year! In 2018, we released “Dragon’s Crown Pro,” “Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight,” “Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight,” in addition to new games such as “Etrian Odyssey Nexus,” and “Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth.” “Persona 5” was also adapted into a television anime, and after over 2 years, it achieved 1 million sales in Asia, including Japan. Thank you very much for your kind support.
Starting with Catherine: Full Body releasing in February 2019, we are steadily preparing unannounced new titles. Please look forward to a follow-up report of Shin Megami Tensei V, as well!
(Update 2019-01-01): Studio Zero has also posted their own card:
