Dragon’s Crown Pro First Feature Scans


Weekly Famitsu magazine issue #1503 includes a 4-page Dragon’s Crown Pro feature for the upcoming HD remaster of the PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 3 2D action RPG originally released in 2013.

Details for the remaster include:

  • “Game Master Voices” can be selected among all 14 types, including from the English version of the game.
  • Re-arranged live orchestral soundtrack.
  • Available in 4k resolution.
  • Crossplay multiplayer with the PS3 and PS Vita platforms.
  • English and Japanese voices available.

The retail version will cost 7,980 yen (excluding tax), and the limited version of the game costs 12,800 yen (excluding tax). The limited edition includes:

The limited “Royal Package” edition of the game will include:

  • Vanillaware illustrated luxurious art BOX
  • “Dragon’s Crown Pro” Orchestra Album (3-CD set)
    • A total of 56 songs composed by Hitoshi Sakimoto and performed by a live orchestra.
  • “Dragon’s Crown Pro” Orchestra Album Special Booklet
    • An A4 size, 12-page booklet with beautiful illustrations and notes on newly recorded music.
  • DLC Set “Digital Art Collection”
    • Includes a downloadable code for a special custom theme, along with art showing off the Dragon’s Crown world and monsters.

The October 5, 2017 issue of Famitsu—or issue #1503—was released in Japan on September 21, 2017.

Dragon’s Crown Pro will be released for the PlayStation 4 in Japan on January 25, 2018.
