The “Famitsu Dengeki Game Awards” is one of the largest user voted game awards in Japan, and it’s produced by the Famitsu and Dengeki media outlets. The results for 2019 were revealed during the “Famitsu Dengeki Game Awards 2019” award ceremony live stream which took place earlier today.
Users voted on games nominated for 16 of the categories. Persona 5 Royal and 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim were both nominated in various categories, and won some of them.
Persona 5 Royal won in the Best Music category, over Kingdom Hearts III and Death Stranding. Persona 5 Royal was also nominated for Best RPG, which was won by Pokemon Sword and Shield.
