Following the announcement of the upcoming Persona 5 premium event titled “Take the Treasure,” a new promotional banner for it has been revealed.
The banner—which has started being displayed on the Japanese version of Niconico—shows off previously seen art of the protagonist on the left side, while the right features new art of high school detective Akechi Goro with the following quote:
Seven new announcements!! Preliminary investigation files!
This implies that there will be several new announcements made at the “Take the Treasure” live stream event on July 19, 2016, where fans will get their first hands-on with the game.
The Niconico live stream page for the event can be seen in the link, as well as the official website here. It will take place on July 19 at 7:30 PM JST (3:30 AM PDT / 6:30 AM EDT).
Persona 5 is slated to be released for the PS3 and PS4 in Japan on September 15, 2016, and in China on the same date for the PS4. It will have a February 14, 2017 North American release date, and the game has been announced for a European release.
