Nintendo has announced that players who have played Persona 5 Strikers on their Nintendo Switch consoles will be receiving Sophia as a spirit in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Added via the version 11.0 update to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate today alongside the Pyra / Mythra character from Xenoblade Chronicles 2, the Sophia spirit will be unlocked as a special present to all those who have also played Persona 5 Strikers on the Switch. An Arthur spirit from Ghosts ‘n Goblins is also available to players who have played Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection on their console.
Spirits in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate are customized enemies with unique properties, meant to represent non-playable characters from different franchises.
Previous spirits featured the Phantom Thieves, Goro Akechi, Caroline & Justine, and Igor.
The Sophia spirit is planned to be made available to all players at a future date.
