Perfect World Games has released new details on the upcoming mobile and PC game Persona 5: The Phantom X during a preview live stream earlier today. The stream featured gameplay footage from the upcoming beta, and showcased some of the new TA characters and their Persona IIs.
Miyu Sahara (Code Name: Puppet) (Voiced by: Kana Ichinose)
Miyu Sahara (code name: Puppet) and her Persona II: Nemertes. A first-year high-schooler and daughter of a local member of the House of Representatives. She may look gentle and polite on the outside, but in reality she has a strong will of her own.
Going against her parents’ expectations for her future plans, she runs away from home and resolves to support herself on her own.
YUI (Voiced by: Chika Anzai)
YUI and her Persona II: Apseudes. A mysterious girl who the protagonist meets in the virtual world. She is obsessed with acquiring land and the two decide to grow crops on it, at the suggestion of the protagonist.
She has a naive and romantic personality, occasionally revealing a clumsy side.
Hina Nishimori (Code Name: Riddle) (Voiced by: Yui Ogura)
Hina Nishimori (code name: Riddle) and her Persona II: Daeira. A 10-year-old children’s clothing model, who was chosen by an advertising agency due to her cute and delicate looks.
She is very active, curious and likes to follow adults and ask questions. When she doesn’t get the answers she wants, she starts to pout.
Toshiya Sumi (Code Name: Sepia) (Voiced by: Junya Enoki)
He has a record for catching the king of the fish without using a hook. He is not very old but has a unique understanding of life and emotion, and often says unexpected things.

Dungeon and Battle Gameplay
A clip of a new dungeon and a battle using the TAs, and showcasing some of their Showtimes.
A playthrough of “Wake Up Your Hero” in the game’s rhythm minigame. A gacha collecting minigame was also shown. A football minigame was also teased.
Producer’s Message on the Public Beta
The opening movie and theme song of Persona 5: The Phantom X are almost complete, and will be included in the public beta test for all players to see.
The first two chapters of the game will be completed, revealing more stories between this game’s and that of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts. All the unfinished animations and music will be implemented by then. Players will be able to experience this during the beta.
Several mysterious new characters are also being prepared, so stay tuned.
While not confirmed, several app sites, including 4399, have listed the public release date for Persona 5: The Phantom X as February 23, 2024.
