After several rumors hinting of its existence, the remake of Persona 3 known as Persona 3 Reload has been leaked via an early upload on the Atlus West official Instagram account. This trailer was meant to be revealed during the Xbox Games Showcase on June 11, 2023.
P3R will be using the Unreal Engine, a first for the series. The Persona Team had been hiring an assistant technical artist for Unreal Engine 4 development back in September 2020.
Test footage from Persona 3 Reload had previously been leaked from an internal Sega Japan meeting video. In the Atlus 2022 consumer survey, the Atlus titles fans wanted a remake of the most had Persona 3 and Persona 2 occupy the top spot with 78.9% of the votes.

Set for an early 2024 release, the remake will be coming to Game Pass, Xbox Series S/X, Xbox One and Windows. It will likely be announced for other platforms in the near future.
