
Persona 5 was released in the West last month on April 4th, and the PlayStation Blog has revealed that it was the most downloaded PS4 game on the PlayStation Store in North America.
The game debuted at #3 for the most downloaded PS3 games in NA.
A day after the release of Persona 5 in the West, Atlus reported that it had shipped more than 1.5 million copies worldwide, including digital sales.
Some of the DLC sets for Persona 5 were among the top 10 best selling PS4 add-ons, as well, with the best selling being the “Persona 5: Izanagi & Izanagi Picaro Set” at #4.
Relatedly, Persona 4 Golden was the fifth most downloaded PS Vita game on the NA PlayStation Store last month.

On the European PlayStation Store, however, Persona 5 debuted at #13 for the most downloaded PS4 games.
Persona 4 Golden was the most downloaded PlayStation Vita game at #1, while Catherine was the 9th most downloaded PS3 game.
Persona 5 was the most sold title in the United Kingdom in its debut week, however it had promptly dropped off the sales charts as physical copies of the game became sold out at several retailers.
Persona 5 was released for the PS3 and PS4 in Japan on September 15, 2016. It was released for the PS4 in Traditional Chinese on March 23, 2017. It released in North America and Europe on April 4th, 2017, and will release in Korean in 2017.
