This week’s issue of Weekly Famitsu magazine #1466 features a questionnaire for 70 Japanese celebrities and game creators to rank the ‘trendiest’ games of 2016, and Persona 5 was voted the most popular.

The 10 most popular games played this year, in order, are:

  2. Pokémon GO
  3. Overwatch
  4. Final Fantasy XV
  5. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
  6. Life Is Strange
  7. Dragon Quest Builders
  8. Dark Souls III
  9. Rez Infinite

Persona 5 was released for the PS3 and PS4 in Japan on September 15, 2016. It will release in North America and Europe on April 4, 2017, and in traditional Chinese and Korean in 2017.
