When Persona 5 was released last month, it debuted at the top of UK sales charts, making it the series’ biggest launch in the region. It was the 13th most downloaded PS4 game in Europe.
Today, video game retail sales charts for the best selling games in the United Kingdom, for the month of April 2017, were released. Persona 5 was ranked as the 7th best selling game, despite it having quickly sold out and having promptly dropped out of the weekly sales charts, due to a lack of physical copies shipped to Europe.
According to MCV UK:
Atlus RPG Persona 5 may have only spent a brief time at the top of the weekly listings, but that was enough to secure No.7 in the monthly sales race.
In fact, in the Individual Format Charts, the PS4 version of Persona 5 finished in second place behind only Mario Kart. This chart also saw a strong finish for Sony’s Horizon Zero Dawn, which sits at No.4.

Persona 5 was released for the PS3 and PS4 in Japan on September 15, 2016. It was released for the PS4 in Traditional Chinese on March 23, 2017. It released in North America and Europe on April 4th, 2017, and will release in Korean in 2017.
