Persona 5 Royal Ranked 24th Best Selling 2019 Game in Japan

Famitsu has announced the top 50 Japanese packaged game software sales rankings in 2019, based on Famitsu sales estimates.

The data collection period was from December 31, 2018 to December 29, 2019, with all data based on Famitsu sales estimates. Digital sales were not counted in the sales figures.

In the top 50, Atlus’ Persona 5 Royal placed 24th with 244,050 copies sold. P5R debuted with 201,448 copies sold in Japan, following its first week on the market after its October 31, 2019 release at 8,800 yen.

In December 2019, Atlus reported that Persona 5 Royal had reached 400k copies shipped in Japan (which includes digital copies of the game sold).
