Several Asian retailers have created listings for an English release of Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers in 2021.
Indonesian retailer PS Enterprise has claimed on their Facebook page that the listing was made because their supplier has confirmed that the game will be releasing in 2021. Other retailers with listings include Pakistani retailer Toy or Game and Singapore retailer Qisahn, both of which state a release date of February 23, 2021.
The listings are for a “Region 3” English release, which is a release for the Southeast Asian market. As such, this version of the game would likely be published by Sega’s Asia branches and not Atlus West. Previously, Persona 5 Royal received an R3 English release which coincided with the game’s Western localisation. The Chinese and Korean language Region 3 releases for Persona 5 Scramble were previously launched on June 18, 2020.
A recent Koei Tecmo financial report confirmed that a Western release is planned for Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers. This mention was later removed from its second quarter report.
Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers was released for the PS4 and Nintendo Switch on February 20, 2020 in Japan. The action RPG was released on June 18, 2020 in Asia and South Korea.
