Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers Final ‘Travelling Morgana Newsletter’ Video Released, Features Kyoto & Osaka, Phantom Thief ‘Wolf’

As announced last week, Atlus has released the fifth and final episode of the regular “Travelling Morgana Newsletter” video series featuring Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers details across the game’s Japanese locales.

The last locations highlighted where the Phantom Thieves will travel to are Kyoto and Osaka. The video also highlights the new Phantom Thief who will be joining the cast.

The official website for Persona 5 Scramble has been updated with new screenshots and information from the video.

Introducing Kyoto, a long-established historic former capital city!

Kyoto, one of Japan’s leading tourist cities, is home to valuable cultural heritage like temples and shrines. At Zenkichi’s request, the public security officer joining the Phantom Thieves, the group decides to stop by Kyoto.

Zenkichi’s home is in Kyoto, and it is where his daughter, Akane Hasegawa (voiced by Naomi Ohzora), lives. She is a huge fan of the Phantom Thieves.

As it turns out, there is a Jail in Kyoto as well. The Phantom Thieves decide to take the Jail on, which looks like a big shrine. Inside, there are countless torii (traditional Japanese gates), and when you pass through them you find yourself in a completely different area. If you only go through them without thinking, you’ll never make it to your destination. You’ll need to be careful about your approach.

In the Kyoto Jail, something strange happens to Zenkichi…

Introducing Osaka, a city of food and kindness!

Osaka is the largest city in western Japan. It’s a city overflowing with food and empathy, to a degree that it’s called the city of “kuidaore” (indulging in food until bankrupt).

The headquarters of the global IT company “Madicce” is located here, which seems to be deeply involved with this “Reformation Cast.”

Akira Konoe (voiced by Tōru Ōkawa) is the president of the Madicce IT company. Providing innovative services, he is a shrewd and charismatic company president who has captured the hearts of many people.

Awaiting the Phantom Thieves in Osaka is the Osaka Jail, which resembles a futuristic city. It is an impregnable Jail where security cameras are set up everywhere, and where security robots go around on patrol.

The enemies are formidable, so take them on resolutely.

Report: Code Name “Wolf”!

The companion Zenkichi Hasegawa awakens to his persona ability to fight against evil alongside the Phantom Thieves. His code name is “Wolf.”

He uses a large sword with a long reach, and he also dual wields revolvers. He fights using “Absorption,” which drains life from enemies, and “Berserk,” which reduces his own life but increases his attack power.

His persona is “Valjean.” His persona specializes in almighty and gun attribute skills, as well as the ability to strengthen allies.
