Sega Sammy has released the company’s Fiscal Year Ending March 2026 second quarter (consisting of July, August, September 2025) financial results. As with previous earnings reports, Sega has outlined the company’s tentpole game series sales, including Persona.
According to the financial results, the Persona series sold approximately 770k units worldwide (including digital and physical sales) through July, August and September 2025.
This report also includes a revision from last quarter’s results. Sega previously showed that the Persona series had sold 1 million copies in the first quarter of this fiscal year (April to June), however the company now shares that it had actually sold 650k and says the following:
FY2026/3 Q1 figure for the Persona series contained calculation errors and have been corrected.
The Persona series has sold a total of 1.43 million units this year from April to September.
Previous Persona Sales Milestones
On July 31, 2025, Atlus confirmed that the Persona series had achieved 27 million copies sold worldwide, with 2 million of them being Persona 3 Reload. As of October 2025, the Persona 5 series alone (including Persona 5, Persona 5 Royal, Persona 5 Strikers, and Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight) has sold over 13 million copies worldwide.
