Atlus previously announced that the Blu-ray for “Persona Super Live P-Sound WISH 2022: Crossing Journeys” would be released in Spring 2023. The concert celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Persona series originally took place on October 8th and October 9th, 2022 at the Makuhari Messe venue in Japan.
Persona Super Live P-Sound WISH 2022 was the first major concert in three years since the “Persona Super Live P-Sound Street 2019: Welcome to No. Q Theater” held at the Ryogoku Kokugikan. Tickets were sold out for both performances in October, and about 14,000 people attended, which was the highest number of attendees a Persona concert has ever had.
Day 1 of the concert mainly consisted of Persona 5 (Royal) and Persona 3 music, while day 2 mainly had Persona 5 (Strikers) and Persona 4 songs. Songs like “Take Over,” “Daredevil” and “Ying Yang” were performed live for the first time.
Blu-ray Release
Today, the release date for last year’s concert on Blu-ray has been announced for May 24, 2023. The home release will consist of two discs: Disc 1 recorded from the October 8th performance, and Disc 2 recorded from the October 9th performance. The Blu-rays support multi-angle specification, allowing viewers to switch to different angles of the performance from fixed cameras.
This set will cost 14,800 yen (excluding tax).
CD Set Release
The CD release will be a 4-disc set with the first day’s performance on discs 1 and 2, and the second day’s performance on discs 3 and 4. It will also include a bonus track by Atlus composer Kenichi Tsuchiya that was used as background music after the performance on day 2, composed exclusively for the concert.
This set will cost 4,800 yen (excluding tax).
Limited Edition Release
In addition to the two regular edition Blu-ray discs, a limited edition sold only at the Victor online store comes with a bonus Blu-ray that will include making-of videos with rehearsals and backstage footage, and narration from the characters.
It will also have a 100-page booklet, with postcards and stickers included.
This set will cost 24,800 yen (excluding tax).
Those who pre-order the “complete production limited edition” along with the performance CD set on the Victor online store will receive a bonus “Another Cut Photo Book” on a first-come, first-served basis.
