Radiant Historia—a Nintendo DS RPG developed and published by Atlus—was released five years ago in Japan, on November 3, 2010.
For this anniversary, the game’s director Mitsuru Hirata had the following to say on Twitter:
It’s been already 5 years! Though it’s hard to admit that it was never a hit, I’m always grateful to see so many people who love it. Personally, I also think it’s a very good title. Someday, there will be a new Radiant Historia game! That’s the kind of thought I continue to have (laughs).
Mitsuru Hirata is currently the chief director for the upcoming Genei Ibun Roku #FE, a Wii U exclusive role-playing game developed by Atlus and published by Nintendo, originally announced as “Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem.”
Radiant Historia was released on November 3, 2010 in Japan and February 22, 2011 in North America, for the Nintendo DS. Based around time travel and espionage, the RPG was developed by staff who worked on the Megami Tensei and Etrian Odyssey series games, as well as Radiata Stories.
