Ryokutya, known for its positive reputation in reporting on “flying gets” and other magazine leaks, has posted an article stating that a “PS3 era” title by Atlus will be remastered with additional content, with an announcement likely to happen by the end of the year.
The author of the article stresses that the information is unconfirmed.
A translation of the article in full is available to read below:
Is a PS3 Era Atlus Title Seeing a New Announcement? (Edited)
There is a possibility that this title is being remastered with additional content, however I’d like to note that I heard it as unconfirmed information.
When I heard the title name, it was not a numbered title, so I thought that it was a full DLC remaster. But I don’t think this game had any DLC. This was rumored to me a few months ago, and it seems it should be announced by the end of the year, if true.
If there’s no news on it, then I must have heard wrong. If so, I sincerely apologize.
Catherine Remake Possibility
If this information is true, then the title that has been rumored could likely be a Catherine remaster. Back in August, Atlus held a stream centered around recruiting new staff for their Studio Zero development studio, titled the “Studio Zero Golden Recruitment Special Program.”
During the stream, Trisha—a character from Catherine—narrated the beginning and ending segments of the live stream. At the very end of the event, Trisha’s dialogue hinted at a potential Catherine followup.

Additionally, Atlus director Katsura Hashino had previously teased, in September 2017, that Studio Zero is developing a game other than a fantasy title, which is further along than Project Re Fantasy and that we would be hearing more of before that game as well.
He also stated:
Hashino: I cannot reveal any details yet, but I am preparing something so people say, “Huh, so this is part of it too?” I think that I will be able to show this one to everyone first.
