Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse overlaps with the events of Shin Megami Tensei IV, but don’t worry if you haven’t played the original game.Apocalypse features a new demon hunter protagonist, nicknamed Nanashi, who SPOILER ALERT (not really), gets killed in the beginning of the game by a very fabulous demon. However, the god Dagda has other plans and resurrects Nanashi as his personal Godslayer in story full of divine intrigue. Let’s just say that when you’ve been appointed as someone’s Godslayer, you’re probably going to be getting into some trouble. Check out the trailer below!

Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse was released for the Nintendo 3DS on February 10, 2016 in Japan as Shin Megami Tensei IV Final. It will be released on September 20, 2016 in North America and in Winter 2016 in Europe.

    Since I’m not that interested in the Megami Tensei Games, I wonder if the Daemon Negotiation System is a ‘spin-off’ for Persona 5. Either way, I love the fact that you can ask the daemon what you want to do with them.

      No, the demon negotiation system also appeared in Persona 1 and Persona 2 IS/EP, just that Persona 5’s negotiation system is more akin to original Megami Tensei mechanics.
