Story

Thou shalt be God —
When a grisly murder scene in modern-day Tokyo blocks our protagonist’s walk home, an unplanned detour leaves him buried and unconscious. He awakens in a New Tokyo, a wasteland ravaged by apocalypse now called Da’at – but before bloodthirsty demons can claim his live, a savior emerges, and the two of them unite to become a mighty being, neither human nor demon: a Nahobino.

Canon of Vengeance

Canon of Vengeance features 4 brand new female demons, named the Qadištu, newly designed by character designer Masayuki Doi. Lilith (voiced by Atsuko Tanaka in Japanese, Katelyn Gault in English) is the leader, guided by a certain purpose. A mysterious new girl will also appear, named Yoko Hiromine (voiced by Chiwa Saitō in Japanese, Erin Yvette in English).

The Qadištu

4 female Demons stand in the main characters’ way.

“Found it, the Key of Resurrection……”

A member of the Qadištu, Lilith calls protagonist the Key of Resurrection, and herself The Oppressed.

What is their purpose? A tale of revenge by the oppressed begins.

Yoko Hiromine

“With no one to save them, in the back of their mind, the victim desires only one thing: revenge against the assailant”.

She is a senior in high school at St. Marina Academy. Cool and somewhat mysterious.
She meets and works with the protagonist in Da’at. She has always possessed mysterious powers and was once called a “saint”. At the academy, she has been recognized for her power and learned exorcism magic. She also participates in the battles.

Gameplay

SMT V: Vengeance will feature refinements to the Da’at overworld desert, as well as a new Da’at and dungeon.

New quests have been added, as well.

In battle, ally demons will now have Unique skills to emphasize their unique nature, and other additions have been made. Players will also be able to interact with their ally demons.

Demons

Over 40 new demons appear in Vengeance, bringing the total to over 270. One of them is a new demon making its appearance for the first time called “Nahobiho.”
