Atlus has announced that the Shin Megami Tensei V series of games has surpassed 2 million copies sold worldwide (including shipped physical copies and digital copies sold). 1 million copies of these sales are from Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance.
This follows the announcement that the SMT V series had sold 1.6 million copies in June 2024. This also corroborates the leaked Sega Sammy sales data list that had put total sales for the SMT V series at 2.11 million units worldwide.
Series character designer Masayuki Doi has released celebratory artwork for the sales milestone.
