Soul Hackers 2 Sells 52k Copies in Japan in First Week

Soul Hackers 2 was released for PlayStation and Xbox platforms (as well as PC) in Japan last week on August 25th, and sales tracker Famitsu reports that 51,861 total copies of the first sequel to Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers after 25 years were sold during its first week in stores.

This is a higher performance than Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE, the previous game the same team released, which debuted in Japan at 23k copies sold.

The Famitsu estimated sales data for Soul Hackers 2 in Japan are of sales ranging from August 22 to August 28, 2022. The number of copies sold does not include digital downloads of the game.

The Xbox versions of Soul Hackers 2 did not chart within the top 30 games sold this week in Japan.

Relatedly, for physical game sales, Soul Hackers 2 debuted at number 11 in the United Kingdom sales charts for its first week on sale.

Soul Hackers 2 was released for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and PC in Japan on August 25th, and will be released in the West on August 26th, 2022.
