Japanese creative company ICREA have announced that they will be launching a Kickstarter for an officially licenced board game based on the Shin Megami Tensei series.
The Kickstarter will officially launch on September 10, 2024, the anniversary of the release of the first Megami Tensei title. The provisional Kickstarter page can be found here.

Project Overview
The game is based on the world of the Shin Megami Tensei series, and will include a total of 72 elaborate demon figures.
The gameplay will recreate iconic Shin Megami Tensei features including demon negotiation and fusion
The game will be for 2-4 players, with an average game lasting 3-4 hours.
Gen Con 2024 Premiere
The game will be debuted at Gen Con 2024, the world’s largest board game festival, to be held in Indianapolis, Indiana, between August 1, 2024 and August 4, 2024.
The game booth will be located at the Japan Pavilion Booth No. B270.

Step into a post-apocalyptic world where only the last city in Tokyo remains, and compete to recruit demon allies and grow stronger to battle in a final epic showdown.
The Kickstarter Campaign is scheduled to launch on Sept 10 (EDT) to raise funds to manufacture this game and bring it to life with the help of backers.

SHIN MEGAMI TENSEI THE BOARD GAME is a 2-4 player board game where players compete to control the divided areas of Tokyo by negotiating or fighting with demons. The game will include 72 captivating and terrifying demon figurines. Grow and command the demon allies, fight and utilize ‘demon fusion’ to summon and create even more powerful beings.

Captivating demon figurines : The game will feature 72 demon figures, including some new demons prototyped and we believe it was created in 3D based on the official game setting. Fans can paint their own figures and even use them for display.
Demon Fusion and Negotiation : Players get to experience true to the video game building up allies and eventually creating Demon Fusion to bring even more powerful allies into play. Throughout the game players will interact with demon encounters to attempt to recruit them as an ally in an exciting choose your own adventure style mechanic which will affect the outcome of negotiation.
