Persona 4 Arena Ultimax Remastered Sells 13k Physical Copies in Japan in First Week

The remastered version of Persona 4 Arena Ultimax was released for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam in Japan last week on March 17th, and sales tracker Famitsu reports that 12,684 total physical copies have been sold between the PS4 and Switch versions.

The Famitsu estimated sales data for P4AU in Japan are of sales ranging from March 14 to March 20, 2022.

Debuting at 12,684 copies sold, the remastered physical release launched with 73k fewer sales than the original P4AU release for the PS3 in August 2014 at 85,407 copies. As a remastered version of the original PS3 release with little in terms of new content, fewer sales were to be expected.
